This past week, my sweet husband got me a new computer. We had been talking about getting a new computer for months maybe even a year now. My last computer I bought in November 2003. It was a great computer. An eMac (the then cheap version of the iMac). It still works good, and will be the kids computer in the kitchen.
The computer I got is the newest iMac. It is the most beautiful computer I have ever seen. And it works great. Now I have to do a blog. I have no excuse. My last computer was slowing down, and It took forever to do things on it. This computer is so fast. And the screen is 24" (it seems double the size of my last screen), so I can watch a movie and do something on the other side at the same time. Anyway, it is great, it is also so beautiful, it looks like a work of art.
Eventhough we had been talking about buying a new computer, I was planning to buy a Mac Mini, and get a screen on sale somewhere, as well as a keyboard and mouse at Walmart. With the economy as it is, I was trying to save money. Well, Ossil surprised me with this beauty. At first I was a little upset, because I really want to try not to spend money (but I didn't say anything to him). But I realized that He had such an interest in computers, and to him, giving me this computer was how he showed me how much he valued me and loved me.
I have such a wonderful husband. I know I am blessed.

One word---WOW!!!!!! That is the most beeeuuutiful computer I have ever seen. And I am sure the photo doesn't do it justice. WOW!!How do you tear yourself away from it and get anything done?
It is almost impossible to tear my self away, and because of that, the house is really messy. I guess I just need to get less sleep for a while until the house is clean again so I can still play with my new toy.

What a great computer! Ossil loves you, I guess. I'm so glad you didn't make him take it back. It must be a pretty fantastic computer for him to convince you to have it. Have fun with it!
